About
Founded in Amsterdam. Working with clients everywhere. Never taking on more than we can handle well.
Blox started in 2022 when our founder Floris Blumberg got tired of watching clients get burned by big agencies. The pattern was always the same: overpriced, over-promised, under-delivered, and the client left holding a website they couldn't update and a relationship they couldn't call.
So we went small, on purpose. We cap the number of projects we take on so that every client gets real attention. There's no account manager playing telephone between you and the designer. You talk to the person actually doing the work.
In four years we've worked with restaurants, law firms, SaaS startups, e-commerce brands, and a sheep farm in Wales. The brief is always different. The approach is always the same: understand the problem first, then build the site.

120+ projects across 15 industries
Floris has been designing for the web since Flash was still a thing. He started Blox because he kept watching clients get burned — overcharged, ignored, and handed a site they couldn't maintain.
He's obsessed with typography and will spend 40 minutes on a single font pairing. Every project he takes on, he treats like it's his own business on the line. No handoffs to juniors, no disappearing after launch.
Clients describe working with him as refreshingly direct. You get his honest opinion, a fixed price, and a clear timeline — and he actually picks up the phone.
Not every project is right for us. If we don't think we can do a great job, we'll tell you. We'd rather refer you to someone better suited than take your money and produce something mediocre.
You'll get a fixed-price quote before we start. If scope changes, we tell you immediately with a revised number. We've never sent a surprise invoice. We're not starting now.
When the project's done, it's yours. Every line of code, every asset, every file. We don't hold anything hostage behind a monthly platform fee.
Our average delivery is 5 days for a first draft. That's not because we cut corners — it's because we've done this enough times to know what works. Speed and quality aren't opposites.
